Well regarded in the local community, Oldmixon is a friendly, warm and supportive school according to our families. There is a strong focus on mutual respect and collaboration: we work together to give our pupils a high quality education.
We pride ourselves on being a caring, creative school where pupils, staff and the wider community are highly valued and underpin our vision of everyone ‘Achieving for life’. We truly believe that there is no limit to what our pupils, teachers and communities will achieve during their time at our school.
We are proud to offer children at Oldmixon Primary an innovative, exciting and rigorous curriculum that enables every child to achieve. It equips them not only with the skills in English and Maths that they need but allows them to build up knowledge and understanding of the world in which they live: past, present and future. We achieve this through broad and balanced learning opportunities across all subject areas. It is our desire that our children become life-learners, more curious about the world in which they live, and confident of the contribution they can make to it.
