Are you passionate about early years education and looking to make a real difference in children's lives in a nurturing, inclusive school community? Bournville Primary School is looking for a dedicated nursery assistant to join our vibrant nursery team. You’ll be working alongside a highly skilled, passionate, and committed group of professionals within our wider Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision, delivering extraordinary learning experiences for our youngest learners.
THE ROLE
As a nursery assistant, you will:
• Support high-quality teaching and learning across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
• Collaborate with the nursery and preschool manager to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Help create nurturing, stimulating environments where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn.
• Uphold the values of our school and trust, working closely with families and the wider school community.

• Experience supporting EYFS and SEND is desirable
• Experience with speech and language, understanding of Makaton is desirable

• Be patient, sensitive, and able to comfort children when needed.
• Understand the importance of safeguarding and inclusive practice.
